The Montreal South-West Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCISOM) has the mission of providing the business community of the Greater South-West of Montreal with an exchange forum, information and representatives in order to contribute to the economic growth of its members.
The Chamber encourages business development amongst its members through the organization of various activities: luncheons, mid-day conferences, an evening to recognize businesses, networking happy hours, visits from business, and social activities. The Chamber offers its members the ability to be constantly informed by allowing for the information to be available through various means: the Chamber newspaper, Sud-Ouest Affaires, weekly communications in five weekly local newspapers, the member repertoire, and the CCISOM website: www.ccisom.ca. The Chamber ensures to defend the interests of its members by involving them in public interest cases and projects, both local and regional that are likely to benefit the business community, by collaborating in diverse local promotional campaigns or by intervening in public administrations.
